Ferryhill Wheelers

Ferryhill Wheelers Cycling Club has been around for over eighty years and is still going strong.

We are working with schools across the area to give children a chance to learn about cycling and gain confidence on the bike. We are offering a series of events at your child’s school and hope that they will enjoy the experience enough to want to join our club. We will then continue the coaching activity at regular evening, weekend and school holiday sessions as well as providing a range of social events and a chance to compete for those that are interested in joining us.

We are also working with partners to provide permanent cycling facilities in the area and sponsors to allow us to offer more benefits for new young riders.

We believe this is the start of something big and invite you and your children to be part of it.

Everyone is welcome to come along and have a go although helmets are compulsory for all wishing to join in.  The club has a limited supply for people to borrow should you need one but it is highly recommended you get your own and wear it at all times whilst using the track.
